Residents of Kilifi and Malindi are set to benefit tremendously after the two towns were alleviated in status by the county government.

According Kilifi County Governor Amason Kingi Kilifi and Malindi towns shall receive additional funding under the yet to be launched county municipalities program. The governor called for cooperation from the residents as some sacrifices were required to be made in the upgrading of this localities.
