CS Rotich launches research institute on disaster

In the wake of the recent climatic events, there is need for a collective convergence of the national and county governments, regional think tanks, agencies in charge of disaster management and managing programs in order to mitigate against droughts and floods.

At the official opening of the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) annual regional conference National Treasury Cabinet Secretary, Henry Rotich spoke of some of the mitigation measures that the government was looking to in meeting the priorities of Kenyan objectives in the long term development agenda.
