Kibera residents claim they are victims of a diverted project path

A day after the government issued an eleven?day eviction notice to Kibera residents residing on a land earmarked for road construction, the affected residents are claiming to be victims of a diverted project path. They say they are sacrificial lambs in a ploy that has seen the original land earmarked for the project grabbed by powerful individuals. Although they insist they are not opposed to the project, they claim the existence of four different maps highlighting different pathways for the project are extremely confusing.
