Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa demands President Kenyatta to sack CS Rotich

The search for answers on the alleged importation of contraband and potentially harmful sugar into the country continues in parliament. Today, three cabinet secretaries including Dr. Adan Mohammed of Trade & Cooperatives, Henry Rotich of the National Treasury, and Mwangi Kiunjuri of Agriculture & Irrigation as well as their Health counterpart Sicily Kariuki of Health were scheduled to appear before the parliamentary joint committee of trade and agriculture. Meanwhile a section of legislators members of parliament led by Kimilili legislator Didmus Barasa MPs now want CS Rotich sacked, citing wastage of public funds in both importation of contraband sugar and the ongoing probe of the same.
