Bad sugar probe continues as Mombasa company says it followed due process

The search for answers on the alleged importation of harmful sugar into the country continues in parliament. Hydery P Limited, a Mombasa company at the center of the storm has told the joint parliamentary committee on agriculture and trade probing the matter that they followed due process. Hydery imported some 35,000 metric tons of brown sugar in bulk in August from Brazil.
