Rwandan international Meddie Kagere has said his former club Gor Mahia took too long to renew his contract.
While fielding questions from the Tanzanian media after his debut for his new club Simba Sports Club where he scored the winning goal, Kagere said Gor did not move to renew his contract despite being aware of it ending.

He added that Simba who saw more value in him rushed to sign him which is why he is now playing for the Tanzanian side.
According to goal.com, Kagere was signed to Simba Sports Club for Sh 600, 000 and will earn close to Sh300, 000 a month.
