Kenya is set to launch a 10-year agriculture strategy geared towards achieving food nutrition and security as stipulated under the big4 agenda. The new plan - agriculture sector transformation and growth strategy or A-S-T-G-S is expected to drive the goal to achieve 100 percent food and nutrition security in the medium term. Speaking today during a joint agriculture sector consultation and cooperation mechanism meeting in Nairobi agriculture chief administrative secretary (CAS) Andrew Tuimur said all value chain players including the county governments and private sector will be involved in the implementation of the framework.
