Interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiangi for the second time failed to appear before the national assembly’s joint committee investigating poisonous contraband sugar.  

Angry members accused Matiangi of disrespecting parliament since he was the one who triggered the subject of poisoned sugar that could have been consumed by unsuspecting Kenyans. The committee has directed Matiangi to appear before it Thursday morning.
