Blame Game: North Rift Jubilee leaders accuse NCPB of collusion in the maize scandal

Blame games on who should take responsibility over the maize scandal played out today even as Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri vowed to spill the beans. The leaders drawn from the North Rift clashed over a planned  meeting with farmers in Eldoret town in the wake of revelations that the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) paid over 1.9 billion shillings to 8 individuals for maize deliveries at the expense of genuine farmers. However Keter and Tiren said they will not be intimidated into calling off the meeting.
