Seven killed, nine hospitalised after Kamkuywa accident.

Seven passengers died in a road accident while 9 others sustained serious injuries near Kamkuywa town.

"The driver lost control upon hitting a pothole in the middle of the road. Five people were confirmed dead on the spot, while the other two died while undergoing treatment at Migori Level Four Hospital," officer.

"We are piecing together what might have happened. But our preliminary findings indicate that the vehicle was moving at high speed and was overloaded," he added.
