Learning in public universities will remain paralyzed after a meeting between the university academic staff union (UASU) and varsities council officials failed to take place. UASU was set to receive the 2017 2021 collective bargaining agreement counter-offer today, that could have possibly unlocked the more than two-month-old lecturers' strike.
