Kenya joins the list of 12 countries that have launched its home?designed satellite. University of Nairobi today deployed Kenya’s pioneer satellite into the orbit from the Japan space agency (JAXA) Tsukuba space Centre in Tokyo, Japan. The satellite was developed through a programme known as Kibocube, launched in September 2015, by the United Nations office for outer space affairs and the JAXA.
