The ongoing rains continue to cause floods in parts of the country. In Maralal, some residents were stranded after Loikas River broke its banks following a heavy downpour bringing down some of the bridges in the area. They are calling upon county government to construct three bridges along Loikas River to enable easy movement between their homes and the town.
