The death toll from the floods in Tana river has risen to three after a woman was swept away as she attempted to cross a flooded section of the Garissa Bura highway on tuesday evening. The woman could not raise the 200 shillings demanded by young men charging commuters to assist them cross the flooded road. two children died in Bura when they downed as they attempted to cross a flooded area
