Jas Hennessey & co., or more simply Hennessey, is a cognac house with headquarters in Cognac, France. According to Wikipedia, the company sells about 50 million bottles a year worldwide, or more than 40 percent of the world’s cognac, making it the world's largest cognac producer. It is owned by Moët Hennessy, which is in turn owned by VM and Diageo. Today we are pleased to be hosting Mr. Maurice Hennessey and his nephew Mr. Roch Hennessy who will be taking over the mantle as the 8th generation of Hennessey. The Hennessy family are in the country as part of 200 years’ anniversary celebration of Hennessy VSOP.
