Several golfers took part in a golf tournament dubbed Sponsorship Committee Golf Tournament that is sponsored by the Standard Media Group Limited Company. The event was held at the Limuru Country Club with both local pros and amateurs taking part in the event.  There were young golfers hoping to become pro players as the club hopes to produce players who will represent Kenya in the annual European Tour Golf Tournament.
