Self proclaimed NRM general Miguna Miguna remains stranded in Dubai

30th March, 2018

The besieged controversial lawyer and self-proclaimed NRM general Miguna Miguna are still holed up for the third day at the Dubai international airport. The stranded lawyer maintains he is still marooned at the airport in great pain, stress, and inconvenience. In his what’sup message shared by one of his legal team Nelson Havi, Miguna states that he is waiting for clearance from the Emirates air and UAE authorities and an air ticket back to Nairobi. But speaking to KTN, his lawyer Nelson Havi claims they have gathered information that there are plans to put him on an Emirates flight to Amsterdam in the Netherlands before his final deportation to Toronto, Canada. Havi is also accusing the government of trying to spin the matter through Kenyan national commission on human rights that Miguna’s lawyers had compromised with interior CS Fred Matiangi to have him re-enter Kenya with his Canadian passport, a matter he dismisses.
