Study by World Vision shows that uptake of family planning has increased

A study conducted by the World Vision in conjunction with the ministry of health has shown that uptake of contraceptives, birth control measures and attitudes towards child spacing can improve in areas where faith leaders are involved. The pilot survey done in Laisamis sub?county involving Muslim and Christian leaders between 2015 and 2018 revealed that uptake of family planning rose from 5 percent to 12 percent.
