Traders in Malindi are up in arms against the government for the demolition of their structures said to be on road reserves.  Most businesses premises in Malindi town and along the Malindi- Mombasa highway have been inaccessible after the Kenya national highways authority (KENHA) authorities descended on their premises and started pulling structures  down and digging trenches to block people from accessing their shops.
