The government has moved swiftly to reclaim stolen public land in Juja Sub County

4th March, 2018

The government has moved swiftly to reclaim stolen public land in Juja Sub County after it emerged that a private developer was intending to construct high rise buildings on land. The land measuring 9 acres  located behind Juja  police station is part of  33 acres which was allegedly grabbed by a former powerful chief from the area. Last year on February national land commission visited the sub county where they discovered that more than 30 acres of public land was stolen by former powerful chief from the area.
