A tour by foreign investors on a fact finding mission almost turned tragic after they were pelted with stones by hooligans at Aror area,Marakwet West subcounty,Elgeyo Marakwet county.The government is on a process of constructing 35 billion multi –purpose dam and has planned to spend 6 billion to compensate the families earmarked to be displaced to pave way for the construction of two mega projects of hydro power and 
irrigation at Kerio valley.
