30 athletees report to camp in Kigali-Rwanda led by head coach Jaohn Kimento

Thirty athletes who will represent Kenya at the African cross country championships reported to camp at the Kigari teachers college led by head coach john Kimetto. Miriam Cherop will be defending her gold medal in Algeria and she has   assured the nation that she will retain the medal after realizing her body fitness is better than in 2016. Alfred Barckach who is in the men’s 's 10km team is looking forward to winning the African title after national trials champion Geoffrey Kamworor opted to take part in world half marathon  . The championships will be held on the 17th of March in Algeria.
