At least four people have been killed and several others critically injured in Wajir East constituency some 40 km from the Somali border. According to area MP Rashid Kassim the attack that occurred about 1 am last night was carried out by Al Shabaab. Kassim says roads in the area have also been lined with landmines, complicating rescue operations.
