Calls for blood donation are usually rife especially on the social media when one urgently needs blood. Yesterday the Kenya national blood transfusion services conducted a blood donation drive in the spirit of valentine where Kenyans thronged KICC to show their love by donating blood. We are now joined by the head of technical services at the national blood transfusion service Rachel Githiomi to shed more light on this.
