And now to a topic that is at the heart of life literally.....Kenya faces a deficit of 250,000 units of blood. Calls for blood donation are usually rife especially on the social media when one urgently needs blood. Yesterday the Kenya national blood transfusion services conducted a blood donation drive in the spirit of valentine where Kenyans thronged KICC to show their love by donating blood. We are now joined by the head of technical services at the national blood transfusion service Rachel Githiomi to shed more light on this.
