Tuju in a four-page direct letter to the president of the supreme court claims that the chief justice and the judiciary nearly burned Kenya down by nullifying the presidential election results of August 8th last year. He also says jubilee considers there is massive evidence of bias, poor leadership, double standards and impunity by the judiciary under Maraga’s leadership. He goes ahead to cite several examples of what jubilee considers incidents where judges in various courts showed open bias towards NASA against jubilee of the executive. For example, Tuju says whereas NASA boycotted the repeat presidential election on October 26th last year, the chief justice did not say anything despite that being what Tuju considers defiance of a court ruling on the repeat poll. On the converse, Tuju says Maraga was in a hurry to hear Njonjo Mue and Khelef Khalifa's petition that sought to stop the repeat poll, and the case only collapsed because some judges did not show up. Tuju says Maraga had to eat humble pie over that. In his letter, Tuju also says they are unhappy with Maraga because he did not stop Raila Odinga’s swearing in on January 30th as what NASA calls the people's president.
