Regional grain value chain stake holder forum, the Eastern Africa Grain Council, has initiated a process of establishing standards in hermetic storage technologies in handling post-harvest losses estimated to deny the country between 20-30% of its annual maize harvest estimate at 1million bags valued at 30billion shillings.
