The four leading TV stations in Kenya, KTN News, citizen,  NTV and Inooro remain off air despite yesterday's court order to have them switched back on air. The high court ordered the government to immediately restore all TV transmissions for the three private stations which were shut down on Tuesday pending the hearing of a suit filed by activist Okiya Omtatah. The directive issued by Justice Chacha Mwita also bars the state from interfering with the transmission of the three stations.
