Local Jubilee supporters thronged Makutano streets to celebrate the appointment of former governor Simon Kachapin as the new chief administrative secretary CS for education and Micah Powon as principal secretary for Asal areas. The Jubilee supporters expressed their joy in the appointments and sang songs in praise of the former governor and jubilee government. Led by the nominated member of county assembly Esther Cheption, they said they are now relieved because it was not easy for the Pokot community to be awarded two slots.
