Two members of the national assembly have just spoken on KTN news programme the big story, saying they appreciate every extra single shilling they can get from the exchequer, deposit the outcry from Kenyans on the news that they will each carry home at least 1.3 million shillings this month?end. This follows the memo from the clerk of the national assembly which confirmed to the MPs they will get the mileage claims and other perks removed from their salaries after the salaries and remuneration commission released new pay structures. The clerk said the high court had suspended the new pay structures until a case filed by the PSC is heard and determined.
