The government will lift ban on night travel by passenger service vehicles in two weeks’ time. Transport principal secretary Paul Mwangi Maringa told members of the national assembly’s transport and infrastructure committee that the ministry has been in talks with stakeholders and the ban will be lifted selectively. This comes after weeks of pain for long distance public transport users who previously enjoyed the convenience of night travel.
