Edith Nyenze  widow of the immediate former Mp for Kitui West Francis Nyenze will be flying the Wiper Democratic Party ticket in the  forthcoming by-election after beating Maluki Mwendwa in the primaries held yesterday.  Nyenze got 13, 388 votes against Maluki Kitili's  2, 663 votes . According to the returning officer Francis Kivindu, voting was conducted in 65 polling stations, and voter turnout 31% of the 52, 000 registered voters in the constituency.
