Admission of form one students in Malindi is still going on with the number of those admitted increasing by the day. A spot check at Malindi high school and Barani High School in Malindi town revealed that a huge number of students had already reported to school with only very few remaining.  In Malindi high school 124 students have been admitted already while 95 others are waiting clearance from the administration with the overall admission having been set to 240 students. This was the case even at Barani high school as 270 students were admitted and the rest are expected to be in school by the end of the month .
