Nairobi County Deputy Governor Polycarp Igathe tenders resignation to boss Governor Mike Sonko

Nairobi city county deputy governor Polycarp Igathe has resigned. Igathe tendered his resignation letter to Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko and speaker of the Nairobi city county assembly Beatrice Elachi stating that he will exit office on January 31st. Igathe says he had failed to earn the trust of governor Sonko in the management of the county.
