The media council of Kenya has condemned the attack on the media from politicians. Addressing the press in Nakuru media council of Kenya CEO Mr. David Omwoyo urged concerned parties to seek redress using right channels guaranteed by the constitution instead of issuing threats to journalists this follows reports of threats to Nation media reporter Justus Wanga threats  from the office of the deputy president following his publication on the Sunday paper as well as attack on journalists  in Lodwar on 1st of January by some community members.
