Lamu residents aim to take up new opportunities after the completion of the LAPSSET project

The county of Lamu is known for its richness in Swahili culture and heritage but things have been changing. Recently a number of multi-billion shilling projects have been channeled by successive Governments. And with phase one of the LAPSSET project near completion, residents of Lamu say they are ready to take up new opportunities. Francis Mtalaki is in Lamu and now reports.
