Talks to end the ongoing health workers is in progress at Nairobi’s Afya house

Nairobi’s Afya house, the headquarters of the health ministry where sources say great progress was made between the nurses’ union and the government on the talks to end the nurses’ strike.  Sources also say the doctors from the Kenya Defence Forces toured the Kenyatta national referral hospital as the government considers the idea of using KDF to help in critical medical emergencies. And as Timothy Otieno reports, the Kenyan medical practitioners and dentists board warned health workers against disrupting services at private hospitals.
