Alfred Mutua has snubbed the senate oversight committee more than five times despite being issued with summonses.  He failed to appear on wednesday saying he was attending to an impeachment motion.  Come thursday, Mutua ignored the committee claiming the latest summons made reference to Meru county government.  The committee’s vice chairperson said the letter clearly stated Machakos county and meru was erroneouly mentioned once.A motion moved by Dr. Boni Khalwale asking the Inspector General of police to arrest Governor Mutua was unanimously adopted.
