In Nakuru County an accused person went on the rampage and attacked the magistrate, a police officer and the complainant in the case, stabbing them with a screwdriver. Michael Kuhura Njeri attacked Nakuru resident magistrate Eunice Kenny inside the children’s court shortly after he was found guilty of assault. The magistrate had given him a sentence of   3 years in jail. Soon after the sentence was delivered, the accused quickly rushed towards the complainant, stabbing her six times around her neck.  He then rushed towards the magistrate stabbing her on the arm more than two times. Security officers around the premises moved in quickly to stop him. The two injured were rushed to hospital for treatment.
