Kenya national assembly majority leader Aden Duale says the process to have the taxpayer fund the jubilee party primaries is already on course and is unstoppable. He says any party wishing to have IEBC supervise its nominations should follow suit. But as our reporter Murimi Mwangi now tells us, it will cost Kenyan taxpayers at least 22 billion shillings to pay for the nominations exercises for the five main political parties if the plans by jubilee succeed.
