The sectoral council of ministers on EAC Affairs have endorsed Kenya’s foreign affairs cabinet secretary Amina Mohamed to be the next African union commission chairperson in the January 2017 election in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. The ministers say that they are begining a campaign in the African countries to ensure that the Amina who has with 29 years of experience in public service gets the position. Amina is running against a candidate from Equitorial Guinea , another from Senegal and a third rival from  Botswana.
