Kenya suffered defeat in her second game of the Africa under 23 women’s volleyball championships after losing 3-1 to Egypt at the Kasarani gymnasium. Despite Kenya starting the match by winning the first set , the young Malkia strikers failed to match their opponents power in the rest of the match . In another match Botswana defeated Senegal in a five set thriller.
