Works on the second phase of the standard gauge railway project are set to kick off mid-week even as the government works round the clock to actualize the multi-billion shilling project. According to transport principal secretary Irungu Nyakera, the 150 billion shilling line will connect Nairobi and Naivasha. The SGR project is billed as a game changer that is set to cut the cost of cost of doing business in the region and make Kenya a more competitive destination.
