KTN Prime: CORD leaders challenge the government to deal with Murang'a residents issues, 13/10/2016

13th October, 2016

Leaders affiliated to the opposition CORD have challenged the Jubilee administration to first deal with the concerns raised by the locals of Muranga county before continuing with the construction of the northern water collector tunnel. Senators James Orengo and Johnston Muthama accused Jubilee leaders of taking the locals for granted since they hail from a region perceived to be a Jubilee zone. Two legislators from Muranga county have supported the project but challenged the Jubilee leadership to first give locals clean drinking water for the project to get a 100% approval from the area residents.
