Analysts are pointing out that the Kenya Early Oil pilot project is financially unviable from the start and could even disadvantage the local community and the country if it continues in its current form. A consortium of non-governmental organizations says that as currently constituted there is no economic justification to carry out the pilot project and added that there was suspect haste in the whole process.
