Court of appeal judge lady Justice Wanjiru Karanja today faced the judicial service commission to be interviewed for the position of deputy chief justice. The judge who has played an instrumental role in anti-corruption efforts in Kenya, however found herself at pains to explain her role in the 2003 radical surgery, which saw dozens of judges and magistrates lose their jobs.
