The Kenyan government has been urged to invest in industrialization if it wants its economy to grow. According to data from renaissance capital, east Africa is Africa’s leading region led by Ethiopia and Kenya and not West Africa.  Analysts further indicate that Kenya’s investment needs to move up starting with the standard gauge railway, energy and manufacturing to boost the country's exports.
