CheckPoint: President Uhuru Kenyatta reassures the county that elections will be held in August

The Jubilee administration is dismissing claims by the opposition that it is deliberately playing delaying tactics to push the elections date from August to December next year.  President Uhuru Kenyatta through his spokesman Manoah Esipisu says there is no cause for alarm as the IEBC issue was well within the set timelines. The president reassured the country even as a senator Kennedy Mongare revived the push for constitutional amendment to push the elections date from August to December
