Leaders storm Moi university over VC appointment, KTN Prime 9/20/2016

20th September, 2016

Now, a big standoff has emerged between Uasin Gishu and Elgeyo Marakwet people and the ministry of education over the appointment of the vice chancellor of Moi Univeristy in Eldoret. Led by their governors Jackson Mandago and Alex Tolgos, the residents have voiced their rejection of acting vice chancellor professor Laban Ayiro, insisting their own man professor Isaac Kosgey should get the job. This reaction has angered the national cohesion and reconciliation commission NCIC which now accuses the two leaders of propagating tribalism.
