Harambee Starlets booked a semifinal slot in the CECAFA women championship after drubbing Burundi 4-0 in a match played at  Fufa Technical Center, Njeru in Uganda. Starlets did much of the job in the first half netting three goals past  Burundi who came in the match oozing confidence after a 10-1 win over Zanzibar.  Neddy Atieno put Kenya into the lead just before the half hour mark. Mary Kinuthia scored the second while Essie Akida scored the third for Kenya. Atieno scored the fourth and winning goal for the Starlets who top group a with six points and 8 goals.
