President Uhuru Kenyatta has secured a deal with the Somalia president Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud reversing the ban on flights carrying miraa from Kenya. Kenyans had been holding their breath since this morning when it was announced that Uhuru was headed to Somalia for an IGAD meeting, and the revelation that the deal on miraa crop had been reached came just minutes after legislators from Meru County had once again slammed their governor Peter Munya over the miraa standoff.
